Run the server on your always-on PC

Download NetwatchServer.exe and run it. No installation needed — just double-click. This is the hub that receives reports from all your agents.

Deploy an agent at each location

Run NetwatchAgent.exe as Administrator. A GUI setup wizard walks through the configuration on first run. The agent scans and reports every 30 seconds.

Open the dashboard from anywhere

Go to app.coreoutpost.com in any browser, enter your server URL and you're connected. Add your locations and watch devices populate in real time.

Optional: remote access

Set up a free Cloudflare Tunnel pointing to your server. Agents at remote locations report securely over the internet — no VPN or port forwarding needed.

Yes — completely free for one location and one user. No credit card, no account, no trial. Pro and Business plans unlock multiple locations and users.
Never. Netwatch is 100% self-hosted. Your device names, IP addresses, MAC addresses and network topology stay on your own hardware. CoreOutpost has zero visibility into your network.
Netwatch is a free, self-hosted alternative to Domotz and Fing. Unlike those tools, Netwatch stores all data on your own hardware, requires no cloud account and identifies devices using WMI, SNMP and HTTP fingerprinting for exact model detection.
